Overview

Handcrafted in the Netherlands, the Kees van der Westen Spiritello is a one-group spring lever espresso machine that pairs a classic lever group with the control of modern espresso technology. The spring-loaded Idrocompresso group delivers the thorough pre-infusion and naturally declining extraction pressure that lever machines are prized for, while adjustable pre-infusion, adjustable spring pressure, and dual auto-stop functions bring a level of repeatability traditional levers have never offered.

Underneath sits a dual boiler system in 316L stainless steel — a 0.8L coffee boiler cast as one piece with the group for saturated, PID-controlled temperature stability, and a 3.5L steam boiler with a heat exchanger that pre-heats incoming water before it reaches the coffee boiler. The Spiritello runs plug-and-play from its 3.5L stainless reservoir with an internal rotary pump, or plumbs directly to mains and drainage with all parts included. Suited to specialty cafés, roastery bars, offices and dedicated home setups, and available in any RAL colour for a fully personalised finish.

• Adjustable Hot Water: Hot water is mixed with cold for a non-spattering pour, with temperature and volume both adjustable
