The Pesado 53.5mm tamper is a precision espresso tamper built for full basket coverage and level, repeatable extractions. Its 53.5mm base with a machined 90° edge reaches right to the basket wall, so you tamp the whole puck evenly — reducing edge residue and the chance of channelling for a cleaner, more even shot. Each base is machined to ±0.05mm tolerances for a consistent, level tamp, and it's proven to last in commercial environments.

The 316-grade stainless steel base pairs with a hand-crafted birch wood handle in Pesado's signature Oak finish — cross-layered for durability, vacuum-dyed, and sealed with a heat- and water-resistant wax so it holds its look through heavy daily use. Pair it with the optional Pesado depth adjuster for a consistent tamp every time.
