Where the S64 and S75 use flat burrs, the C68 employs a 68mm conical burr set spinning at a slow 450 rpm — a configuration favoured for its distinctive particle distribution, producing espresso with a richer, fuller-bodied texture and cooler running temperatures. A precision belt-and-pulley transmission isolates the motor from the grinding chamber to cut heat soak and vibration. With a 450–570W motor delivering a 20g dose in 4–5 seconds and rated for 50kg+ per week, the C68 is a serious workhorse for busy specialty cafés. In Auto mode it preloads the next dose for ultra-fast delivery, with On Demand available for slower service.
